Flywheel: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transmission.

2. Remove the clutch assembly, if equipped. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement in Transmission and Drivetrain.
3. Remove the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Removal.
4. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Engine Flywheel Clean and Inspect.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Installation.
2. Install the clutch assembly, if equipped. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement in Transmission and Drivetrain.
3. Install the transmission.
