Check Gauges

The IPC illuminates the CHECK GAUGES indicator when the following occurs:
^ Engine oil pressure is outside the normal operating range as received from the engine oil pressure sensor.
^ Engine coolant temperature is outside the normal operating range as received from the ECT sensor.
^ The IPC performs the displays test at the beginning of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
