Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)

The DRL module illuminates the DRL indicator when the ignition is in RUN, the headlamp switch is in OFF and the park brake is released. The IPC provides battery positive voltage and the DRL module illuminates the indicator by grounding the DRL indicator control circuit. Any function that turns on the headlamps, will terminate the DRL operation.
