Fasten Safety Belt

The Multifunction Alarm Module (MFAM) illuminates the fasten safety belt indicator when the following occurs:
^ The ignition is in RUN and the driver seat belt is not buckled (switch signal is low). The MFAM also monitors the driver seat belt switch signal and activates an audible alarm for approximately 8 seconds as a reminder to buckle the seat belt.
^ As a bulb check by the MFAM at the beginning of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
