Air Duct: Service and Repair

AIR DISTRIBUTOR DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the left floor duct. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Floor.
3. Remove the right floor duct.
4. Remove the center floor duct. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Center Floor.
5. Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument, Panel, Gages and Console.
6. Remove the left instrument panel outlet duct from the vehicle.
7. Roll out the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument, Panel, Gages and Console.
8. Remove the retaining screws at the air distribution case.
9. Remove the retaining screws at the instrument panel.
10. Remove the air distribution duct from the instrument panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air distribution duct to the instrument panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the retaining screws to the instrument panel.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

3. Install the retaining screws to the air distribution case.

Tighten
Tighten the retaining screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

4. Roll in the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument, Panel, Gages and Console.
5. Install the left instrument panel outlet duct to the vehicle.
6. Install the instrument panel cluster bezel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument, Panel, Gages and Console.
7. Install the center floor duct. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Center Floor.
8. Install the right floor duct.
9. Install the left floor duct. Refer to Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Floor.
10. Install the engine cover.
