Key In Ignition Reminder

The MFAM monitors the key in ignition switch signal circuit. When the MFAM detects that the key is in the ignition and the driver door is open, the signal circuit is low. The MFAM activates an audible warning. The MFAM activates the key-in-ignition chime when all of the following occurs:
^ The ignition switch is OFF, with the key in the ignition.
^ The key-in-ignition switch signal is low.
^ The driver door jamb switch signal is low.

The key-in-warning chime will deactivate when one of the following occurs:
^ The key is removed from the ignition.
^ The driver door is closed.
