Air Temperature Door Replacement (Heat Only)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement Service and Repair.




2. Remove the screws from the case cover (8) of the HVAC module.
3. Separate the module halves.
4. Disconnect the air temperature actuator from the door. Refer to Air Temperature Actuator Replacement Air Temperature Actuator Replacement.
5. Remove the air temperature door (16) from blower motor case (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the air temperature door (16) to the blower motor case (1).
2. Connect the air temperature actuator to the door. Refer to Air Temperature Actuator Replacement Air Temperature Actuator Replacement.
3. Join the module halves.




4. Install the screws to the case cover of the HVAC module.
5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement Service and Repair.
