Transmission Temperature Gage Replacement (IP Mounted)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the center trim plate.




2. Remove the transmission control bezel.
3. Remove the 2 transmission temperature gage nuts.




4. Remove the transmission temperature gage clamp (1).
5. Remove the transmission temperature gage (2) from the instrument panel.
6. Disconnect the harness connector from the transmission temperature gage.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the transmission temperature gage harness connector.




2. Install the transmission temperature gage (2) to the instrument panel.
3. Install the transmission temperature gage clamp (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the 2 transmission temperature gage nuts.

Tighten the 2 transmission temperature gage nuts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




5. Install the transmission control bezel.




6. Install the center trim plate.
