Wiper Motor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Remove the cowl vent grille.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the wiper motor.
4. Loosen the nuts from the transmission drive link brackets.
5. Slide the brackets off the crank arm.
6. Remove the three screws and the wiper motor from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the wiper motor onto the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the three screws.
Tighten the screws to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
3. Install the transmission drive link brackets onto the wiper motor crank arm.
Tighten the bracket nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
4. Install the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
5. Install the cowl vent grille.
6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement Service and Repair.
