Window Fore/Aft Adjustment
Adjustment Procedure
1. Position the window to fully up.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
4. While sitting in the vehicle, close the door to fully raise the window.
5. Loosen the front (2) and rear (1) window clamp bolts.
6. Open the door to index the window down.
7. To adjust the passenger side door window fore/aft, turn the adjustment screw (1), located in the front access hole.
8. To adjust the driver side door window fore/aft, turn the adjustment screw (1), located in the rear access hole.
9. While sitting in the vehicle, close the door to fully raise the window.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
10. Tighten the front (2) and rear (1) window clamp bolts.
Tighten the window clamp bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
11. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
