Cooler Pipe Inlet - Starter/Generator Stator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the bolts from the engine shield.
4. Remove the engine shield from the vehicle.
5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) from the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
7. Remove the bolt (4) from the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
8. Remove the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) from the starter/generator stator (5).
9. Open the clip (2) at the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
10. Remove the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3) to the starter/generator stator (5).
3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the bolt (4) to the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
Tighten the bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
4. Close the clip (2) at the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
5. Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the starter/generator stator cooler inlet pipe (3).
