DTC B1011

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The power sliding door module (PSDM) can detect when a power sliding door (PSD) and clutch assembly cable is not connected. A disconnected or broken cable, cable bracket, or cable fastener are the only events which can cause the DTC to be set. Except for the class 2 serial data communications circuits, no electrical circuits are involved in the setting of this DTC.

DTC DESCRIPTOR
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC B1011 System Disabled Information Stored

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
A PSD open or close function is attempted.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The PSDM has detected that the PSD motor and clutch assembly cable is not connected.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
- The PSDM will attempt to operate the PSD and stop if the condition is current.
- The PSDM sets a DTC B1011.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
When the failure is no longer present or when the DTC has been cleared with a scan tool.
