Circuit Description
The automatic level control sensor monitors the accessory inflator valve circuit for a short to battery, ground, or an open circuit.
DTC Descriptor
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC 011 Accessory Inflator Valve Circuit
Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
^ Open in control circuit of the accessory inflator valve
^ Short to ground in the control circuit of the accessory inflator valve
^ Short to battery in the control circuit of the accessory inflator valve
^ A malfunctioning accessory inflator valve
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ The automatic level control sensor disables inflator functions.
^ Leveling functions shall continue.
^ The automatic level control sensor will recheck the accessory inflator valve circuitry periodically.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.
Diagnostic Aids
A short to ground or an open circuit on the battery positive circuit of the accessory inflator valve will set this DTC.
Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. This step tests for voltage at the coil side of the accessory inflator valve. The ELC relay fuse supplies power to the coil side of the accessory inflator valve.
3. This step verifies that the height sensor is providing ground to the accessory inflator valve.
4. This step tests if ground is constantly being applied to the accessory inflator valve.
9. This step verifies that the automatic level control sensor is self tested after replacement.
