HEATER COOLANT HEATER BLOWER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel operated heater (FOH).
2. Remove the FOH glow plug.




3. Remove the FOH blower cover retaining screws (1).
4. Remove the FOH blower cover.
5. Remove the FOH blower retaining screws (3).
6. Remove the FOH blower (4) from the combustion unit.

IMPORTANT: Remove and discard the gasket.

7. Using J-38125-560 remove the FOH blower wiring from the electrical connector.

IMPORTANT: Note the routing of the wiring to ensure proper installation.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the FOH blower wiring to the electrical connector.
2. Install the FOH blower (4) to the combustion unit with a new gasket.
3. Install the FOH blower retaining screws (3).

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the FOH blower cover.
5. Install the FOH blower cover retaining screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

6. Install the FOH glow plug.
7. Install the FOH.
8. Lower the vehicle.
