Heater Coolant Heater Exhaust Muffler Replacement

HEATER COOLANT HEATER EXHAUST MUFFLER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.




2. Loosen the bolt (1) securing the muffler to the fuel operated heater (FOH).
3. Remove the muffler to FOH bracket retaining bolt (2).
4. Remove the muffler from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the muffler to the FOH.
2. Install the muffler to the FOH retaining bolt (2).

Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Lower the vehicle.
