Radio Changes from XM Band to AM by Itself (Reprogram Radio)

Models:
2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe
2007 GMC Denali, Denali XL, Yukon, Yukon XL

with RPO US8 or US9 Radio

Condition

Some customers may comment that the radio will switch from XM band to the AM band with no input from the driver. The driver can re-select the XM band and everything operates as normal.

Correction

If the customers vehicle has a black tie radio (RPO U58 or U59), reprogram the radio with updated calibrations. This new service calibration was released with TIS satellite data update version 6.5, available June 12, 2006. As always, make sure your Tech 2 is updated with the latest software version.
