Circuit/System Description
The power sliding door module (PSDM) can detect when the clutch assembly cable is not connected. A disconnected or broken cable, cable bracket, cable fastener or a malfunctioning PSDM are the only events which can cause the DTC to be set. Except for the class 2 serial data communications circuits, no electrical circuits are involved in the setting of this DTC.
Conditions for Running the DTC
A power sliding door open or close function is attempted.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The PSDM has detected that the PSD motor and clutch assembly cable is not connected.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* The PSDM will attempt to operate the PSD and stop if the condition is current.
* The PSDM sets a DTC B1011.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
When the failure is no longer present or when the DTC has been cleared with a scan tool.

Circuit/System Verification
Ignition ON, command the appropriate power sliding door to open and close by pressing the appropriate open/close switch on the Overhead Console Multifunction Switch. The appropriate power sliding door should open and close as commanded.
If the appropriate power sliding door fails to open and close, inspect the cable on the appropriate power sliding door. If the cable assembly is broken, replace the cable assembly. If the cable is intact, replace the appropriate PSDM.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
