Horn Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement.




2. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.
3. Remove the horn bracket bolt (1) to impact bar.
4. Remove the horn (2) from the front impact bar.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the horn (2) to the front impact bar.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the horn bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
3. Connect the horn electrical connector.
4. Install the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement.
