The location of the carburetor identification depends on the year and type of carburetor. On models less Electronic Feedback Carburetor System, the identification number is stamped on the carburetor near the bowl vent nipple. On all models with Electronic Feedback Carburetor System, the identification number is stamped on the step-up piston cover plate.
