SYMPTOM/CONDITION

The temperature sending unit preapplied sealer and tightening torque have been changed to improve sealing. The part number of this sending unit with the new sealant is PN MD091056.

Tightening Torque:

Sealant Color:

New Old

Yellow Gray

1. When a new sending unit is installed, torque according to the color of the applied sealant.

2. When a sending unit has been removed and is going to be reinstalled, apply Mopar Thread Sealant, PN 4318034, and torque to the new specification.
