Front Door: Service and Repair

Door Glass And Regulator:

1. Install door latch assembly with electric lock motor assembly attached. Secure latch to inner panel, leave motor loose.
2. Install outside handle assembly with key cylinder link and handle link into door handle opening.
3. Assemble linkages to latch.
4. Position outside handle to outer door panel, attach retainer bracket, and secure.
5. Install remote control and remote rod. Connect link to latch, secure remote to inner panel. Clip remote rod to anti-rattle clip.
6. Secure power lock motor to inner panel.
7. Position and attach outside belt molding, starting at forward edge.
8. Install bell crank with lock knob link and attached lock knob and seal with bell crank to latch link. Index bell crank to inner panel and attach. Connect linkage to latch.
9. Install prepositioned electric regulator to door inner panel.
