NOTE: If vehicle is operated under severe service conditions, the maintenance schedule should be increased to double the normal maintenance periods.
Severe service conditions are defined as:
^frequent driving in dusty conditions
^extensive idling
^frequent trailer towing
^frequent short trips of 10 miles or less
^operating at sustained high speeds during hot weather (above 90° F, 32° C)
