Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Relay Identification:

REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner duct or air cleaner assembly.
2. Remove battery.
3. Remove (2) module mounting screws.
4. Remove 14-way and 60-way electrical connector from the SBEC. Remove the SMEC.



INSTALLATION


1. Connect the 14-way and 60-way electrical connector to SMEC.
2. Mount SMEC to inside left front fender. Install and tighten mounting screws.
3. Install the battery.
4. Install air cleaner duct or air cleaner assembly.
