Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

PRE-REMOVAL OPERATION
1. Reduce Residual Pressure from High Pressure Hose.
2. Battery Removal
3. Air Intake Hose Removal

REMOVAL
1. Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and remove the eye bolt.

CAUTION: As there will be some pressure remaining in the fuel pipe line, cover it with a rag to prevent fuel from spraying out.

2. Gasket
3. High-pressure fuel hose connection
4. Gasket






5. Fuel main pipe connection:
- Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and loosen the flare nut.
- Then disconnect the fuel main pipe.
6. Fuel filter

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse procedure to install -- using torques listed in image.

POST-INSTALLATION OPERATION
1. Install air intake hose
2. Connect battery terminal
3. Check Fuel Pressure
