NOTE: Synchronize the throttle bodies if there is a gap between the adjustment screw and the linkage lever. Also, synchronize throttle bodies after removal and installation.

Idle Speed Screw:

Adjustment Screw:

1. Install a 0.004 in feeler gauge between the idle speed screw and throttle lever on right throttle body.
2. Loosen the adjustment screw lock nut, on the synchronization shaft.
3. Turn adjustment screw until it just contacts the lever on the on the synchronization shaft. Tighten the lock nut to 36 in-lbs (4 Nm).
4. Check clearance between throttle lever and idle speed screw. The 0.004 in feeler gauge should drag lightly when removed. Also a 0.006 in feeler gauge should not fit between throttle lever and idle speed screw.
