DISCUSSION:

The two horns are mounted one each on the left and right frame rail just behind the cooling module. One of the horns is a high note horn and the other a low note horn. Due to vehicle assembly plant process changes and vendor changes the high note or low note horn is not always mounted consistently on the same side of the vehicle. When a horn fails and requires service both left and right (high and low note) horns should be replaced to ensure the vehicle leaves the dealer with a high and low note horn.
