Procedure 4 - ABS Light On With Engine Running

CODE NAME
Even after the engine is started, the ABS warning light remains illuminated.

CODE DESCRIPTION
There is probably a short in the Antilock Brake System (ABS) warning light illumination circuit.

PROBABLE CAUSE
- Malfunction of combination meter.
- Malfunction of ABS valve relay.
- Malfunction of ABS- Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
- Malfunction of wiring.

NOTE: This trouble symptom is limited to cases where communication with the scan tool is possible (ABS-ECU power supply is normal) and the diagnostic trouble code is a normal diagnostic trouble code.
