Safing Sensor Open (Active)

SYMPTOM
SAFING SENSOR OPEN - ACTIVE

TEST NOTE
All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests. The title for the tests will be SAFING SENSOR OPEN.

WHEN MONITORED
When the internal saying sensor circuit becomes open or a (driver or passenger) airbag line 2 is shorted and the line 1 is opened at the same time.

SET CONDITION
The code is usually set due to an open circuit in the airbag control module. However, if either Driver or Passenger line 2 is shorted and the parred line 1 is opened at the same time, this code will set.
