SYMPTOM
P0725 - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT

WHEN MONITORED
Whenever the engine is running.

SET CONDITION
The engine speed is less than 390 rpm or greater than 8000 rpm for more than 2 seconds while the engine is running.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS
- EATX RPM SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
- EATX RPM SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
- EATX RPM SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO VOLTAGE
- PCM - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT
- TCM - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT
