Headlamps - Moisture Inside

SUBJECT:
Moisture in Headlamps
MODELS:
1997 - 2002 (PR) Prowler
DISCUSSION:
Some moisture accumulation in the headlamp housing is normal. The only acceptable way to remove the moisture is to activate the headlights on high beam for 15 minutes. Customers should be advised of this procedure. Replacing the headlamp assembly is not required.
If water has accumulated inside the headlamp housing (puddling on the bottom of the headlamp housing), the headlamp housing must be replaced.
