B16A1-DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH BACKLIGHTING CIRCUIT HIGH

- When Monitored:
Whenever the power is turned off to the module and it goes from awake to sleep mode.

- Set Condition:
When the Driver Window Switch Illumination Driver circuit (internal in the switch) is above 2.5 volts for over 27 ms. and the switch illumination output is turned off.





TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B16A1-DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH BACKLIGHTING CIRCUIT HIGH?

Yes

- Replace the Driver Window/Door Lock Switch.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Try cycling the ignition switch several times. Press all the buttons on the switch while monitoring the scan tool. If the DTC returns, replace the switch.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
