B1D0F-DRIVER MIRROR HORIZONTAL POSITION SENSOR INPUT CIRCUIT LOW

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information. Electrical Diagrams

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
When the Driver Door Module senses less than 0.16 volts on the Driver Mirror Horizontal Position Signal circuit for over 100ms., this code will set.

1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Operate the Mirror Switch in all directions several times.
4. Cycle the ignition from on to off three times.
5. Turn the ignition on.
6. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B1D0F DRIVER MIRROR HORIZONTAL POSITION SENSOR INPUT CIRCUIT LOW as active?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. (P145) DRIVER MIRROR POSITION SENSOR SUPPLY

1. Turn the ignition Off.
2. Disconnect the Driver Mirror connector.
3. Turn the ignition On.
4. Measure the voltage between the (P145) Driver Mirror Position Sensor Supply circuit and ground.

Is the voltage above 4.6 volts?

No

- Go To 6

Yes

- Go To 3

3. (P65) DRIVER MIRROR HORIZONTAL POSITION SIGNAL

1. Reconnect the Driver Mirror connector.

NOTE: The graphic shows the terminal end of the connector for reference only. Back probe the wire end of the connector with the mirror connected.

2. Back probe and measure the voltage between the (P65) Driver Mirror Horizontal Position Signal circuit and ground.

Is the voltage between 0.7 and 4.2 volts?

Yes

- Record the measurement and Go To 5

No
