Tire Pressure Module (TPM)






B2199-17-BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE ABOVE THRESHOLD

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
Any time the Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) Module senses voltage input above 16.0 volts for over 20ms, this code will set.





1. CHECK POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTCs
1. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.

Are there any ENGINE DTCs present?

Yes

- Testing and Inspection Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.

No

- Go To 2

2. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
2. Start the engine and run for two minutes.
3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B219917-BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE ABOVE THRESHOLD?

Yes

- Replace the Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) Module.
- Perform the TPM VERIFICATION TEST. Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the TPM VERIFICATION TEST. Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).
