Parking Brake System: Adjustments

Adjustment Procedure
1. Adjust the rear brakes. Refer to Drum Brake System; Adjustments.Drum Brake System
2. Remove the center console.





3. Release the parking brake.
4. Raise the rear wheels off the floor and support the vehicle.





5. Tighten the adjustment nut until the rear wheels are difficult to rotate manually.
6. Loosen the adjustment nut until the rear wheels will turn freely when rotated manually.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Install the center console.
