Front Door Step Lamp Removal and Installation

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front door step lamp lens cover.
3. Remove the front door trim panel screws.




4. Reposition the lower half of the front door trim panel.
5. Remove the front door step lamp.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the replacement front door step lamp bulb.
3. Install the lower half of the door trim panel to its original position.

NOTE: Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.




4. Install the front door trim panel screws.

Tighten
Tighten the front door trim panel screws to 3.5 N.m (31 lb.in).

5. Install the front door step lamp lens cover.
6. Connect the negative battery: cable.
