Clutch Switch: Adjustments

Adjustment Procedure
After installation, adjust the clutch pedal position switch in the following manner:

1. Check that the engine does not start when the clutch pedal is released.





2. Check that the engine does start when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. If engine does not start when the clutch pedal is fully depressed, turn the clutch pedal position switch adjusting screw in until the clutch pedal position switch is engaged and the engine will start. Do not adjust the screw so far down that it damages the clutch pedal position switch.

After the adjustment procedure if the engine does start when the clutch pedal is released completely, replace the clutch pedal position switch.
