Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

1. Using a sound scope, check to see if each injector emits an operation sound when the engine is started or cranked.
2. If sound is not available or emits an abnormal sound, check wiring and connectors to injectors.
3. Measure resistance of each injector.
4. On 3 cylinder engines, resistance should be 10-15 ohms.
5. On 4 cylinder engines, resistance should be 11-17 ohms.
6. On all engines, if resistance is not as specified, replace injector.
