Fuel Pump Flow Rate

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove gas tank gas cap.
2. Place suitable protective cloth under pressure regulator, then remove fuel return hose.
3. Connect an approximately six foot long hose to pressure regulator and other end into a graduated beaker.
4. Remove check connector cap, then connect check connector too No. 09991-87702-000 to check connector.
5. Connect terminal F, (Black/White) of check terminal to ground terminal.
6. Connect battery ground cable, then turn on ignition switch on Rocky, for 15 seconds, on Charade, for 10 seconds, then turn off ignition switch.
7. Fuel collected on Rocky, should measure 14.34 cubic inches or more and on Charade, 9.76 cubic inches or more.
8. If fuel measured is less than specified amount, check fuel filter.
