Clutch: Service and Repair

Clutch:

1. Remove transmission from vehicle. Refer to ``Transmission Replace'' for procedure.
2. Remove pressure plate, then clutch disc, Fig. 4.
3. Remove clutch parts from transmission as follows:
a. Release bearing hub clip, then release bearing.
b. Release yoke lever, then torsion spring
c. Clutch release lever, then bushing.
4. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Install new clutch disc and pressure plate assembly, ensure disc and plate are properly aligned.
b. Install transmission, then adjust clutch.
