Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect all electrical wires from starter.
3. Remove starter attaching bolts, then starter.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten lower bolt together with wire clamp.
b. Torque starter bolts to 29-39 ft. lbs.
