Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

WIPER LINKAGE

REMOVAL

1. Remove windshield wiper unit from vehicle.
2. Place wiper unit on a suitable work surface.
3. Remove nuts holding cowl cover brackets to wiper unit.
4. Remove cowl cover brackets from wiper unit.
5. Remove nuts holding linkage and motor mount plate to wiper unit.
6. Remove wiper linkage from wiper unit.
7. Disconnect wire connectors from back of wiper motor.

INSTALLATION

Reverse the preceding operation.
