B210F-LOSS OF BATTERY VOLTAGE





For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
If the Battery Voltage Feed indicates OFF for 1 second, then fault is written directly to EEPROM. If the battery voltage feed is restored in under 36 miles (58 km), then the EEPROM is cleared.





1. IOD FUSE NOT INSTALLED
1. Inspect the IOD Fuse.

Is the IOD fuse installed?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Install the IOD fuse.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

2. IOD FUSE OPEN
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Inspect the IOD fuse in the PDC.

Is the IOD fuse open?

Yes

- Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for a short to ground condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 3

3. CHECK THE (A944) BATTERY VOLTAGE FEED FOR AN OPEN




1. Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 harness connector.
2. Turn the ignition on.
3. Measure the voltage of the (A944) Battery Voltage Feed circuit.

Is the voltage above 10 volts?

Yes

- Replace the Instrument Cluster.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

No

- Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, repair the (A944) Battery Voltage feed circuit for an open.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.
