Timing Cover

Using the seal pilot to align the cover , install the cover to the housing and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts at the 3 and 9 o'clock position finger tight, then in a clockwise direction starting at the 3 o'clock position.
Tighten 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs)
Snug, but do not torque one bolt at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. This centers the seal on the crankshaft.
Tighten bolts in a circular pattern 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs)
