CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION M19 DAMAGED BATTERIES

MODELS:

2012 (D2) Ram Truck (3500 series Pick Up)
(DD) Ram Truck (3500 series Cab Chassis)
(DJ) Ram Truck (2500 series Pick Up)
(DP) Ram Truck (4500/5500 series Cab Chassis)

NOTE:
This notification applies only to the above vehicles equipped with a 6.7L Cummins diesel engine (sales code ETJ) built from January 24, 2012 through January 31, 2012 (MDH 012407 through 013106).

^ The batteries in about 114 of the above trucks may have been damaged during the vehicle assembly process. A cracked battery could leak electrolyte and/or shorten the intended battery life.

^ To correct this condition, both batteries must be inspected for cracks and/or electrolyte leakage. Batteries that fail inspection must be replaced.
