Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
3. Unscrew sensor from exhaust Y-pipe.
4. Clean Y-pipe threads.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque sensor to 22 ft. lbs. If original sensor is to be reinstalled, coat threads with a suitable anti-seize compound.
