Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation

Fuel Delivery System:

The Fuel Delivery system consists of a plastic fuel tank, a submersed electric fuel pump, fuel filter, throttle body fuel injection, fuel pressure regulator and associated lines, hoses and controls. Fuel is pumped from the fuel tank by the electric pump to the throttle body and injector, then through the fuel pressure regulator with excess fuel returning to the tank through the return line. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the fuel flow through the injector.
