Inoperative Automatic Cruise Control
MODELS:

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicles built prior to MDH 07-01-XX (July 1, 1991) may have inoperative Auto Cruise Control caused by a broken or cracked vacuum hose. Vehicles with inoperative Cruise Control should have the following procedure performed.
PARTS REQUIRED:
1 Hose, Auto Cruise Control Vacuum MB852014
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This procedure involves inspection, and replacement if required, of the Auto Cruise Control vacuum hose.
1. Inspect the Auto Cruise Control vacuum hose, shown in Figure 1, for cracks. Cracked hoses should be replaced with a new hose (PN MB852014).
2. Verify the Auto Cruise Control proper operation.
3. If the Auto Cruise Control is still inoperative after installing a new vacuum hose, refer to the 1991 Laser/Talon Service Manual Volume 1 (Publication Number 81-270-1500), pages 14-137 to 14-139.
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
