Fig. 28 Wiper Motor Testing:
Operation At Low Speed Or High Speed
1. Connect battery to wiper motor as shown.
2. Ensure motor works at both HI and LOW speeds.
3. Replace motor if necessary.
Operation Of Wiper Motor At Stop Position
1. Run motor at Low speed, disconnect battery and stop motor.
2. Reconnect battery and ensure that after motor starts turning at Low speed it stops at the automatic position.
Wiper & Washer Switch
1. Disconnect column switch connector, then check continuity between terminal for each switch as shown.

2. If not as specified, replace wiper washer switch.
Intermittent Wiper Relay
With column switch connected, ignition switch in ACC position, wiper switch in INT position, check voltage between terminal three and ground. Voltage should alternate from zero to system volts.
Washer Motor

Ensure washer tank is full, then connect battery as shown in ensure water squirts out strongly. Replace motor if necessary.
