Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

Instrument Cluster - Vista & Summit Wagon:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove meter hood.
3. Disconnect combination meter then remove from instrument panel.
4. Remove adapter lock, pull speedometer cable slightly into the passenger compartment then the rear side of the adapter from the cable.
5. Turn adapter so notched section in aligned with tab on cable side, remove the adapter by sliding it backwards.
6. Remove cluster switch bolts the the switch.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
