Fig. 2 Clutch Pedal Height (A), Freeplay & Clevis Pin Play (B) Measurements:

1. Measure clutch pedal height (A). If height is not within specifications, check pedal bracket for damage and wear and repair as needed.
2. Measure clutch pedal freeplay (B).

3. If freeplay is not within specifications, turn outer cable adjusting nut at toeboard until clutch cable free play is within 0.20 - 0.24 inch.

4. Depress clutch pedal several times, then check clutch pedal to floorboard clearance at clutch release point (C).
5. If clutch pedal to floorboard clearance at release point is less than specified, check clutch assembly and release mechanism and repair as needed.

6. On Colt and Summit models, ensure that when clutch pedal is depressed all the way, 5.9 inches, interlock switch switches over from On to Off.
7. If necessary, loosen locknut and adjust.
